Translation is my second career so I have the benefit of my career in the IT industry, and the many years I have been an active, competitive rower. Sport is a big part of my life along with languages, and I continue to enjoy regular training to race which has meant I have learnt a great deal about how the body functions and develops. This understanding has been influential in helping my children learn dance in a more informed way that I learnt as a child.
Getting to know the culture in Italy and France is a major focus both everyday with reading and watching news channels as well as visiting the countries on camping and walking holidays.
