Luana Silighini is an Italian journalist and videoreporter. A graduate of La Sapienza University of Rome, she holds postgraduate qualifications in multimedia journalism, broadcasting and videojournalism and has reported foreign affairs, news and culture for Italy’s national news agency ANSA in Rome, Corriere della Sera, La Repubblica, La Stampa and Radio Rai. She is the author of two books on migration and the Syrian crisis.
